In 2020 I compared the prices of various protein powders on a price per gram basis and other nutritional information. Since publishing that post, supply chain issues, Brexit and inflation have greatly increased the prices of the various protein powders. Accordingly I've updated the article to include a more up to date as of time of writing analysis of vegan protein powders. As the table shows, the baseline per gram of protein has increased from the region of 1c to 3c. Additionally, Brexit has lead to certain powders being excluded from the analysis as they cannot be accurately categorised due to exchange rates and the overhead of customs and shipping.
All nutritional information in this table is per 100 grams. MyP means MyProtein, OptNut means Optimum Nutrition, Bulk means Bulk Powders.
